While I was walking down the sidewalk on my way to school. I saw a tree and decided randomly to look at it since I had extra time. While looking at it I saw a nest with baby birds inside of it. All of a sudden while walking away I heard a crash. I look behind me and see the birds nest on the ground, since It was a little windy outside it knocked the nest down. I was panicking since I had to walk to school and didn’t know what to do. I knew I had to help the birds though so they would be back in the tree. I first tried picking them up and they were constantly chirping and moving so it was making it difficult to bring them up. Sadly I was just to short to set them back up there so I would have to climb. I took my time backpack off, picked them up, and started to climb. Branch by branch I got higher and as quickly as I started I was where they used to be. I set them down on the branch and made sure they wouldn’t fall off this time, then made my way down the tree. I then got my backpack and then rushed to school since I was going to be late. I was going as fast as I could and before you know it I was at school. I walked down the hall with my head held high and told my friends what happened right as I got to my class. I felt like I did the right thing cause if it wasn’t for me they would still be crashed on the ground than up in the safe tree.
